In the cold autumn, the Xiangjiang River flowing north, I am alone standing at the end of Orange Island, 

Look! The mountains are red and the layers of forests are dyed; 

The river is green and transparent, and all the boats are competing for the best.

The eagles are striking the sky, the fish are soaring to the shallow bottom, and all the creatures are competing to be unrestrained.

How sentimental I am to ask who would master the ups and downs of the boundless land?

I once brought my schoolmates, travelling here, recalling the extraordinary years of the past.

Just as young students, we're in full bloom, vigorous and powerful with scholar spirit.

We commented on the national affairs with inspiring words, treating the warlord bureaucrats at that time as dung and dirt.

Ever remember swimming in the middle stream with the waves stopping the flying boat?
