乡愁

我的视频里住着多少人的乡愁

在南方的风中流浪是我的向往

养育我的北方便成了思念的地方

我以南方的荔枝思恋北方的高梁

我以南方的热恋思恋北方的苍凉

学会了南方人说话像鸟儿一样歌唱

便想听听父老乡亲马鞭甩出的粗犷

在没有季节没有寒冷的城市奔走

更想在下雪的时候回一趟故乡

越过莺飞草长的江南再睹北国的风光

缺少色彩的故乡让我喜悦也让我忧伤

尽管北方有我童年的土炕

可南方却是我一生奋斗的疆场

我的家在南方

北方却住着我的爹娘

也曾千里万里的回到故乡

可再也回不去出发的那个晚上

也许我的后人会像我来南方一样

回北方闯荡

而我的灵魂只能在南北之间来来往往

我熟悉而陌生的南方

我亲切而遥远的北方

Homesickness

In my video lives many people's homesickness. 

Wandering in the southern breeze is my wish. 

The north where I was raised becomes my nostalgic place. 

With the lychees in the south I miss the sorghum in the north. 

I miss the desolation of the north with the passion of the south. 

After learning that southerners speak and sing like birds, 

I want to hear the roughness cast out by my fellow countrymen' horse crops. 

When I am on the run in the city without cold seasons,

I prefer to go back to my hometown when it snows.

Having crossed the south of the Yangtze River where the birds fly and the grass grows,  

I again see the scenery in the north. 

The lack of color in my hometown makes me happy and brings me sadness. 

My heatable adobe sleeping platform in my childhood is in the north.

But the battleground of my life is in the south. 

My home is in the south.

But my parents live in the north. 

I have also traveled thousands of miles back to my hometown.

But I can't go back to the night when I left my birth place. 

Perhaps my descendants will return to the north and wander like I did when I came to the south. 

But my soul can only come and go from north to south. 

I am familiar and unfamiliar with the south, 

I am familiar and distant from the north.
